Incessantly increasing human needs have drastically damaged the forest. The trees have been cut down in large measure for the last decades, mainly to meet the demand of the society; the destruction is happening uninterruptedly and increasing day by day. So, it the high time to check on the obliteration of trees otherwise, the day is not far away when we will forget the hue of green colour.
Reason: the forests are being cut down to generate paper products and for the use of wood in modern industry. The question is: why the other ways are additional methods of achieving the same goal not being thought of?
The manufactures of paper industry knows well that they can produce paper from other alternative sources such as cotton, grass and hemp. Elephant dung is also a good material to make paper (bet you didn’t know that!). Here, there are a number of strong reasons why the trees should be protected. The motto of the day is “Go Green”. It is for the safety of humanity from destruction. Look at the steps below why everyone should go green:
- Go green (the protection of tree & the plantation of more saplings) is necessary to see the future generation healthy people.
- It provides protection to wildlife habitats & preserve eco-system
- It gives potency to soil quality.
- It defends us from flood & natural calamity.
- It damages the bio-diversity of jungle.
- Unstoppable global warming (continuing increase in the earth’s temperature) is due to the absence of “go green” concept or the unchecked burning of fossil fuels by men.
- Greenery works as a soothing balm for ailing persons.
- Greenery is the best source of releasing oxygen which is must for the survival of strained humankind.
Steps towards safety
Due to the increase of the size of hole in ozone layer, the world is immensely worried. It is the major cause of high temperature of the earth. The question is: if we fail to control such situation, the global warming would significantly go faster. So, now many countries have joined hand by signing an agreement to use other kinds of energy which might be safe for the ozone layer.
